A Message of Gratitude

Dear clients and friends,

It’s hard for me to believe, but today we celebrate one year since re-branding HCGA Consulting Partners to launch BroadView Talent Partners. This past year has been a whirlwind from a business, marketplace competition and public health perspective, but we wouldn’t change one minute of it. Thank you to everyone who has supported us, referred us and worked with us to bring diverse leadership to our clients in the affordable housing, non-profit and middle market sector clients. As I reflect both on our first year and where we are as a country, we have made good strides in placing women and people of color in leadership roles across all sectors and paid boards.

More and more of our clients are retaining us to deliver diverse talent pools and outcomes. While we are excited about this trend, our firm will continue to forge partnerships with clients who seek diverse talent for the right reasons. We cannot set candidates up for sustained success with clients who employ DEI merely for PR or window dressing purposes. Rather, we can and will deliver desired results and outcomes with clients who leverage DEI as an organic business strategy – one that emphasizes executive leadership that reflects the demographics of the communities served.

Fundamentally, we define DEI in terms of winning, innovation and creativity. Winning spurs competition and best practices; innovation encompasses technological advancement, efficiencies and strategic thinking; and creativity drives problem solving in multi-dimensional ways. Rather than focusing on color, creed, religion, gender, orientation or other diversity dimensions that tend to divide us, we encourage our clients to leverage DEI with intentionality and a focus on winning, innovation and creativity – concepts around which we can effectively and universally unify.

Going into Black History Month 2022, BroadView Talent Partners will continue to deliver process and placement excellence while ensuring our clients acquire the best available diverse, executive leadership talent in the marketplace. I wish you continued good health and happiness as we continue this momentum into 2022 and beyond.

Sincerely, Tracy McMillan, CEO & Managing Partner, BroadView Talent Partners
